Do You Know These School Safety Best Practices?
Of all the responsibilities facing principals, teachers, and administrators, school safety tops the list. Learning cannot happen outside of a safe and secure environment.
Unfortunately, establishing a safe and nurturing environment isn’t enough; we must also be vigilant when it comes to protecting it.
Protecting your school community requires communication, consistency, and the confidence from all parties involved that the building’s critical incident process will keep everyone safe.
That’s why conversations about school safety are dominating the education industry, perhaps more so than ever before, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
