The Swift School and EdCamp
The Swift School, located in Roswell, Georgia, does a great job in serving students with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences. In March this year, they will be hosting an incredible conference called EdCamp Dyslexia. This event branches from the national foundation EdCamp. “EdCamps are organic, participant-driven professional learning experiences for educators across the country and worldwide!” As a matter of fact, they are the first in the country to create an educational camp based on dyslexia! Isn’t that amazing? This “unconference” brings educators from all over together. It’s highly interactive, and participants choose the topics discussed.
EdCamp Dyslexia is an amazing opportunity to consider technology use for students with learning strengths and challenges that accompany Dyslexia. All EdCamps are free for participants because the main goal is to impact
student learning and development!
